Why Behind the Thinking #
A standard enforced by the manager alone is fragile — it goes home when the manager goes home. A standard that lives between the cast is durable — it holds across turnover, across shifts, across the seasons when the operator is stretched thin. The 200% Rule states that every cast member is 100% responsible for their own standard and 100% responsible for the standard of the person beside them — the responsibility does not divide, it multiplies. Building it requires three Perspective decisions: the standard must be explicit enough to enforce in observable behavior, the permission for peers to correct peers must be established explicitly (because the social cost of speaking up to a peer is high), and the operator must model the correction personally every time the standard slips in front of them ([perspective_recompiled_07.08.2026.txt]).
