Definition #
The invisible cost a building pays when ambiguity is allowed to persist — not the cost of what went wrong, but the cost of what remains unresolved and unnamed.
Family #
Canon. Perspective fundamental. Section 1.OR.11.
Why Behind the Thinking #
Uncertainty in the building does not require a crisis — it requires a vacuum, and the brain fills vacuums with imagined threats that are almost always worse than the reality. The operator who names the uncertainty explicitly — “here’s what we’re working through, here’s what I know, here’s what I don’t know yet, here’s when I’ll tell you more” — reduces the tax immediately, not by resolving the uncertainty but by eliminating the vacuum. The dashboard cannot see this cost; only the Perspective read of what is currently ambiguous in the building can name it ([perspective_recompiled_07.08.2026.txt]).
