Definition #
The event-triggered after-action discipline. Every shift/period/launch/season closes with a structured look-back: what we expected, what happened, what the delta tells us. Event-triggered counterpart to [Reality Check]’s calendar trigger.
Family #
STATIC THINKING family, corrective on the stale-branch of [Static Thinking]; fundamental bearing TBD (likely Performance or Production).
Why Behind the Thinking #
Mirror of pre-shift, but running in the opposite temporal direction — pre-shift sets expectations going in, [Post Shift] audits them coming out. Together with [Reality Check] it covers both axes of refresh: calendar (slow drift) and event (acute deltas). The named delta — what was expected vs. what happened — is inertia’s enemy because it forces the gap into the open where it can be acted on, rather than letting it accumulate invisibly. Written assumption refresh: verbal post-shifts go stale invisibly, while written ones can be audited.
