Definition #
The six-beat operating sequence every operator runs. Produces one of two outcomes: the Compounding Loop (builds the operation) or the Contraction Loop (shrinks it). Every operator is running one version at all times.
Family #
Perspective / Performance framework. Parent of [Contraction Loop] and [Compounding Loop]. Sits at 1.OR.30. The six-beat sequence is the operational DNA of how every operator runs their business day to day.
Why Behind the Thinking #
The operator does not choose whether to run a loop — the loop runs regardless. The question is which loop. The six beats are the same in both versions; what differs is the direction each beat moves the operation. In the Compounding Loop, each beat builds on the last. In the Contraction Loop, each beat costs more than it returns. Naming the loop makes the direction visible. Making the direction visible is the precondition for changing it.
