Definition #
The first named instance of [The Roundabout] method. Located at Ch 1.2. Two Einstein truths bracket one Edison practice in a four-move sequence that corrects operator thinking before prescribing operator action.
Family #
Child of [The Roundabout]. First instance of the reusable Roundabout method in the book. The naming convention carries the chapter position (1.2) to distinguish it from subsequent Roundabout instances across the series.
Why Behind the Thinking #
[The Roundabout] method exists because operator thinking errors precede operator execution errors. You cannot correct what an operator does without first correcting how they think. The Einstein-Edison-Einstein structure uses the conceptual weight of Einstein’s truths to open and close the correction, with Edison’s practice-layer credibility running the middle. The bracket locks the thinking shift before the operator moves to application.
