Definition #
The lead must inspire growth in two directions simultaneously: professional (the cast member wants to grow into the role, get better at it, develop into a lead) and personal (the cast member wants to grow as a human being inside this workplace). Both are lead-produced, not role-produced.
Family #
People principle. The mechanism that activates both professional and personal development above their baseline levels. Without it, both columns produce dormant cast.
Why Behind the Thinking #
Professional clarity produces the floor of inspiration — gives the cast member something defined enough to engage with. Personal recognition activates inspiration above the floor. Inspiration is extrinsic: it comes from the lead. The lead who inspires only professional growth produces a cast member who develops the role but not themselves. The lead who inspires both produces a cast member who stays, develops, and leads. Inspiration is not a column — it is the current that runs through both columns.
