Definition #
The operator’s attunement to the building’s operating rhythm — a felt sense of when the building is running right and when it starts to diverge, built through repetition rather than read from a dashboard.
Family #
Canon. Perspective fundamental. Section 1.OR.26.
Why Behind the Thinking #
The operator with Shared Pulse reads the whole room, not just their own section — the cast member losing pace, the kitchen backing up three tickets before it’s visible, the table about to tip before the server notices. That attunement comes from having run enough shifts in this building, with this cast, to internalize what “on” feels like, which is the deepest form of Perspective work: not the analytical read, the attunement. Shared Pulse cannot be installed from the outside — it requires staying, and it is protected by maintaining routine (the Monday check-in, the pre-shift) because continuity signals that leadership is still present ([perspective_recompiled_07.08.2026.txt]).
