Why Behind the Thinking #
Every operator has a ceiling on their own read, invisible to them by definition. The Devil’s Advocate lens assumes a hostile reader and asks what the strongest argument against the operator’s position would be. The Operator Read lens checks whether the position holds from the inside, given the operation’s actual reality. The Third Position lens asks what survives both — sometimes the attack wins, sometimes the internal logic holds, usually the truth sits between them. The discipline does not guarantee a correct read; it guarantees the operator engaged their own ceiling deliberately before acting, so mistakes are made faster, caught earlier, and corrected before they compound ([perspective_recompiled_07.08.2026.txt]).
